WORK IN THE GARDEN Pattern Design by Alex Anderson Finished Size: 30" x 39"
I have fallen in love with red work! A three-hour class I taught on
a quilting cruise inspired this wall hanging. I thought it would be
fun to design a heart and flower pillow for the class and before I knew
it this charming little quilt (30"x39") was born! Red work is the perfect
project for busy folks at soccer games, doctor appointments or even
commuting on airplanes. You just name the place where idle hands get
itchy, and it's time for red work. If you are interested in making this
wall hanging, I have put together a pattern which includes all twelve
flower and heart patterns, one for each month of the year, along with
simple piecing instructions for the quilt. I am so excited about this,
I am designing more patterns that are perfect for 16" pillows, so keep
posted.
