Quilt Vacations
... Ever think of taking a trip with a group of quilters? It's a great way to see new places,
share quilting ideas and of course meet new quilting friends (I've never met a quilter I didn't like!). Check
out these quilt vacations.
How about a cruise? I have the privilege to work with Quilt Celebration. A delightful woman, Faye Doyle, manages
it. Every year she patiently works with Joen Wolfrom, Elly Sienkiewicz, myself (and having worked with me, patiently,
is the opperative term LOL) and assorted guest teachers to provide a most excellent adventure. In the past we have
cruised the pacific sea to Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii and also ventured into the delicious blue Caribbean Sea. At sea,
we teach and you quilt to your hearts content. In port everyone scatters to explore and play. It is not unusual for
couples to come, while one is quilting the other might be taking advantage of the ships many activities. My husband
John is ALWAYS up for an at sea adventure. For more information please visit www.quiltcelebration.com.
One of the very special things about this particular cruise is that we have many repeat attendees, which has lead to
incredible friend ships. Think about it, this might just be your next most excellent adventure.
